Ducting Express was called Tuesday morning early. I arranged an order with them, paid over the phone and was assured it would be sent for next day delivery. They tell you they can’t guarantee it but it should be fine. I figured even if it’s a day late, I can cope with that. I then found out on Wednesday that Ducting Express “forgot” to send it on Tuesday, or that there was some “confusion” at the warehouse meaning the Wednesday delivery was now pushed to Thursday. As these are the final components to complete a job we’re on working away, I paid for my 2 engineers to get a hotel and wait for Thursday. On Thursday, the final day, after a few conversations with Enya, she advised Parcel Force had some issues of their own and it wouldn’t be delivered. She advised me to drive 30 miles to collect it myself to which I wasn’t going to do as the depot is in the middle of Bristol. Today is Friday, the order still hasn’t left the depot, and I have cancelled the order. No compensation or discount was offered to me to keep my business. A simple “how is it our fault” is all I got. The fact remains, if on Tuesday the order was sent as promised, none of this would have happened and I could have completed this project. Ducting Express offer excellent prices for their goods, but what use is this if we struggle to get the goods. If I was the manager of this company, I would have sent the same order (Valued under £200), sent it again to help my situation which was explained multiple times. I then could have arranged with Parcel Force to return the now “lost package”.
Instead time and money was wasted as a result of bad customer service in my opinion. I won’t be using this company again and advise you reading this to look at alternatives if you want good after sales care.

Afternoon Alex. Thank you for your Google review. I am sorry for the experience you have had with us. Although your order was requested to be sent 05/09, unfortunately this didn’t happen and your order wasn’t sent until 06/09. We do put all orders once dispatched on a 24 hour service, but unfortunately this isn’t always guaranteed once it leaves our warehouse. On this instance, Parcel Force are having issues with their depot and this is the reason why it is still held at the depot. On one of the calls I had with them 07/09, I explored if it was possible for yourself to collect from them, because I was advised by Parcel Force that there is a backlog with the current deliveries, and I was assured that your parcel wouldn’t be delivered 07/09. Although this wasn’t ideal, I asked if you would be willing to collect from the depot, because I knew the urgency of this delivery. I never advised you to drive to collect the items – this was only an option. Unfortunately if we were to resend the order, the possibility of you getting it within 24 hours would be slim, because the issues are still happening with the depot. I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations and that you felt we were not able to provide the level of service needed. We take all reviews seriously and will use this as an opportunity to improve our services in the future. A further search on their site and I found spare filters, again at a fair price.
Placed the order and payed with PayPal. It all arrived it very quickly, almost next day on standard delivery.

Good afternoon Sajidur. As discussed on the telephone call, I am sorry that your complete order did not arrive yesterday 12-07-2023. Unfortunately, there was a mix up on one of our vans and your two lengths of spiral were delivered to the wrong customer. We did call to say we would re-deliver this on Friday 14-07-2023. It is stated clear on our website our deliveries are approximately 3 to 5 working days and your order will be completed on the sixth working day. Once again, I am sorry that you are not happy with the service received, however your order will be completed within the time scales we state on our website.
