When I tried getting a refund for kit I didn't need I was told it was unsellable, despite it being in the exact condition I was sent it in. Very sketchy company.

Hi Danny, I am very sorry that you feel this way and as our previous discussions I understand your frustrations. As we have discussed, if you had advised us of any damage to your items on arrival, we would have been more than happy to replace the items for you. This has to be done as soon as possible but within 7 working days of the receipt of the goods, as stated within our terms. In regards to the goods that you sent back to us, we sent over a copy of our returns terms to you by email upon your request to return the goods. As stated within these terms the goods must be unused and not damaged & in their original packaging. The goods returned to us were not deemed to be in a resellable condition so we would therefore not be able to issue a refund. The way returns are dealt with is old fashioned. The first fan i received was, when first wired up, making a god awful noise from its condenser. A bit like when an old fashioned flourescent tube needs its condenser changed. After a few tests of turning the fan on and off it stopped completely and would not run at all. Hence we did not proceed with its installation and asked to return it. We had to pay the return postage, we have no automatic replacement sent, we have to buy another fan to keep the job going at this end, thus paying twice for goods that did not work. We might in due course get a refund we are toldbut only after a 3 week delay for the returned item to be tested. It may be that we are alleged to have damaged it we were told. Basically we were distrusted in the manner and tone of our dealings. Well for your information the replacent item worked fine - no unusual noise from the condenser and it worked entirely without issue (it was wired in just the same by the way). I would certainly prefer to deal with a modern supplier like Amazon where returns are automatic. I would not deal with this supplier again unless it was the only way to buy the goods.

Hi Tim, I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the way we have to process faults with fans. Please let me assure you, this is not down to distrust. Unfortunately this is the process that most fan manufacturers will follow. We have received the faulty fan back to us which has been sent to the manufacturer to be tested, I have just chased this up this morning and they have had a quicker turn around than expected and managed to test it already. They have agreed that the fan is faulty and can issue a refund. Your credit note will be raised today and a refund processed back to you. I trust the above resolves your issues.
