The Vortice CA 250 VO D is a in-line centrifugal extractor fan complete with fixing brackets which is designed to expel air through a ventilation duct. This Vortice extractor fan is constructed from self-extinguishing VO plastic and is protected against water spray from any direction with an IP44 rated splash proof connector. The long-life ball bearings installed in the Vortice extractor fan ensures a mechanical working life of at least 30,000 hours and continuous silent running over time for trouble free operation.

In-line extractor fan
In-line centrifugal extractor fans generate higher air pressures; they are generally used in commercial and industrial environments where a higher power motor is required to push the extracted air down a longer duct run. The extractor fans are usually mounted inline (inside or connected to ducting) and are usually located in the loft space or ceiling void above the room which you are extracting air from. They are a discreet option with the grille being the only visible part of the extraction system. Centrifugal extractor fans also have the benefit of low noise levels due to them being located further away from the point of extraction.

Q - Can I use a Vortice CA 250 VO D 250 Diameter Inline Tube Extractor Fan in my bathroom?
A - Vortice extractor fan can be installed for use in a bathroom; they are especially suited to larger bathrooms or in bathrooms which are used by a number of people (i.e. large families) due to their higher air pressure. The only visible part of an extraction system created using an in-line extractor fan will be your intake vent located on your bathroom ceiling or wall. These come in many sizes, shapes and colours to suit the interior of your bathroom. We do advise that you use a vent suits the diameter of the ducting you are using.
