The Elta bifurcated axial fans are specially designed to handle hostile air conditions.
Bifurcated fans, also known as bif fans, are fans where the motor is located out of the airstream, allowing the fan to operate at a higher temperature. The class H motors are not affected by contaminants in the ventilated air making the fan suitable for high temperatures of up to 200°C. The life of the fan is also prolonged due to the motor being isolated from hot and contaminated air.
The fans are suitable for external mounting as standard.
Constructed from sheet steel with both motor and impeller mounted within the length of the unit casing. The fan casing is dip galvanised after fabrication to BS 729, offering enhanced corrosion resistance.
