Finishes for Heaton Green filter bags

All Heaton Green bag filters sizes are available in various finishes and materials to suit your application. Standard replacement filter bags for Heaton Green shaker filter units are made from 350gms/m² Polyester Needlefelt. All finishes and materials available to purchase are:

Standard Polyester Needlefelt;
Anti-Static Finish;
Universal Chemical Finish;
Nomex.

Standard Polyester Needlefelt bags are used for general dust collection applications.

For applications where a static electrical charge can build up, such as extraction of combustible dusts like ground plastics and flour, filter bags with an antistatic finish are most suited.

Universal Chemical Finish (UCF) is a chemical treatment applied to Polyester Needlefelt filter bags which makes the material water repellent. UCF multi pocket filters resist oil & moisture.

For applications with higher temperature dust filtration such as Asphalt mixing plants, iron & steel and foundries, Nomex filter bags are often used. These filter bags are flame retardant and can be used continuously in temperatures up to 200° celcius in dry conditions.
