Kemper FilterMaster XL Fume Extraction Filter Unit Review

The Kemper FilterMaster XL extraction filter unit is a suction & filter unit for welding fume extraction. It is a mobile unit meaning that it is not fixed in place & can be moved into position or its location can be altered depending upon the needs of the business.

The unit is suitable for all welding materials including high-alloy steel. The unit has a rotating nozzle & cleanable filter which offers 99.9% filter efficiency. It will extract 1000m³/h at a noise level of 69 dB(A).

FilterMaster XL Features & Benefits:

The FilterMaster XL has a number of useful features & benefits including:

  • A choice of 2, 3 & 4m flexible exhaust arms – this enables flexibility around the needs of the business & enables the unit to fit different spaces
  • Flexible extraction arms – the arms can be moved around 360 degrees & positioned in the optimal location for fume extraction
  • Manual damper on exhaust arms – this enables the airflow to be reduced or turned off
  • ePTFE Cartridge Filter Unit – it is a compressed air-fed filter unit to force the particles into a collection tray to be disposed of
  • Safety alarm – if the filter has become clogged or the airflow has been limited, the unit will sound an alarm
  • W3 IFA Certified – this means that the unit offers the highest level of protection against welding fumes
  • Non-stop operation – it can be run continuously
  • High efficiency – because the unit uses compressed air to automatically clean the filter, a high level of efficiency can be maintained
